The festivities kick off on Sunday, the 17th, at the dedicated event pontoon in the marina, with crew welcome running until 5:00 PM. A briefing will follow at 6:15 PM, along with the distribution of Marine Pool packages, a partner of the shipyard. The evening will carry on with a welcoming cocktail reception in a cozy setting by the harbor.

AMEL Yard continue to ride the wave of transformation, setting sail for a dynamic 2024!

La Rochelle, France – AMEL Yard, renowned for their sleek and high-performance sailboats, are steering through a significant transformation of their production site since the launch of the P.H.A.R.E project (Preserving AMEL’s Heritage by Reinventing it Together) last July. This initiative marks a strategic pivot in the modernization of the site, blending a rich history with cutting-edge innovation.

The project has reached a significant milestone with the successful relocation of hull molds to the new extension of Building 1. This achievement underscores our commitment to maintaining boat manufacturing while navigating major on-site construction.

In tandem with the expansion of Building 1, renovation works on the façade of the main building have commenced. These improvements, both aesthetic and functional, are designed to enhance the visitor experience and operational efficiency.

Hyères, South of France – Our Mediterranean office is also undergoing changes, with our team relocating to a new facility in the nautical area of the Port of Hyères. By the end of January, the AMEL Mediterranean customer service and sales team will be fully operational at 14 Avenue du Dr Robin, 83400 Hyères (Tel. +33 (0) 494 57 60 80).

Given the scale of the P.H.A.R.E project, we made the strategic decision several months ago to not participate in this year’s BOOT Düsseldorf. This allows us to focus our resources on this modernization and minimize disruptns to our production teams.

However, we are pleased to remind that at La Rochelle and Hyères, we offer AMEL 50 and 60 demonstration sailboats, creating a sort of ‘year-round boat show’ where private tours and trials are available for most of the year.

We will continue to foster close connections with our clients through planned AMEL yacht gatherings during the finer months.

Lastly, we invite all sailing enthusiasts to delve into the pages of “AMEL, l’héritage d’une passion” (AMEL, the Heritage of a Passion”). This book chronicles our shipyard’s journey, particularly since the passing of its founder. It pays tribute to the teams that have shaped Chantiers AMEL into what it is today and to those who, each in their own way, are collectively advancing this remarkable enterprise.

“AMEL, l’héritage d’une passion ” is now available for purchase at https://boutique.amel.fr/en/
