Chantiers AMEL is proud to once again partner with the Rallye des Îles du Soleil, a transatlantic flotilla crossing organized by Grand Pavois Organisation. This iconic event offers yacht owners the opportunity to sail safely in a friendly and well-supported environment.
The 2024 edition set sail on November 1st from La Palma in the Canary Islands, heading to Mindelo in Cape Verde and concluding in Marie-Galante, Guadeloupe. This year, two AMEL yachts are participating: an AMEL 55 and a Super Maramu 2000, showcasing the diversity and durability of our models.
These yachts, named Vagalouca and Thauride V, are currently leading the fleet and may well be the first to enjoy a taste of Caribbean rum! Follow their journey here: https://carto.oceantracking.fr/rallyesoleil/carto.
A third crew, Peter and Rosie aboard their AMEL 50 Rainbow, had initially planned to join the rally but, unfortunately, had to withdraw just days before the start due to health reasons. We extend our heartfelt support to them and wish Rosie a swift and full recovery.
AMEL has been a proud supporter of the Rallye des Îles du Soleil for many years. This partnership reflects our dedication to promoting events that embody the spirit of adventure and freedom, values at the very core of our brand.
Crossing the Atlantic while being part of a community of like-minded sailors is an experience we wholeheartedly encourage. Events like this allow AMEL yacht owners to sail together, share experiences, and benefit from professional guidance to ensure a safe and memorable crossing. We wish fair winds to the two AMEL crews embarking on this incredible journey. Stay connected to follow their progress and share in their maritime adventures! 🌊⛵
