AMEL…
service and support
par excellence

Becoming a yacht owner means realising a dream and embracing a new way of life. At AMEL, each project is unique, not only for the future owners but also for the teams at our Shipyard. We listen attentively to our clients, we make recommendations, we anticipate their needs and their concerns. We ensure that everything runs smoothly from initial contact right up until delivery of their yacht, providing a service that lives up to their expectations. We work closely with each and every one of our clients to ensure that they receive the special attention they deserve because by choosing an AMEL yacht, they will become a fully-fledged member of the AMEL family!

AMEL Sales team

We imagine that you already know something about the AMEL brand! It may be that you have seen our yachts whilst cruising at sea or moored at a pontoon; perhaps you have even started doing some research by reading articles in the specialist press, on the Internet or on social media. So, if you would like to discover more about the quality, the comfort, and the ease of handling of our yachts, why not come and visit us!

The AMEL sales team would be delighted to welcome you in La Rochelle or in Hyères, where you will be able to try out either of our current models, the AMEL 50 or the AMEL 60. Should you decide to visit us in La Rochelle, you will also have the opportunity to visit our production site to see our teams at work and discover just how our boats are built.

Of course, there is also the possibility of visiting us at a boat show. We participate in a number of major shows every year, with one or two boats on display, depending on the size of the event.

MyAMEL TEAM

Every year, some twenty yachts leave our production workshops: fifteen AMEL 50s and five AMEL 60s. One of the strengths of the AMEL concept is that we offer a comprehensive range of standard equipment, which means optimum management in terms of parts and the yacht building process itself. Although all our yachts are ready for cruising, thanks to a range of high-quality standard equipment (including engine, sails and basic electronics), our clients have the luxury of choosing from a wide range of finishes and options to personalise their yacht to suit their particular needs and sailing projects.

Working closely with the purchasing and production teams, a Client Account Manager is on hand to help future owners decide on the most suitable specifications for their yacht, offering valuable advice either remotely or in person at the AMEL Shipyard.

AMEL Handover TEAM

The handover of your yacht is a very important occasion, and something that has been an integral part of the AMEL service for many decades now. It is a moment you will be eagerly awaiting. Your yacht will be thoroughly prepared and pampered… and the champagne on ice!

Our dedicated handover team will be ready to welcome you at the Minimes port in La Rochelle early on a Monday morning to present you with the keys to your new travelling companion. Over the course of a week, our team will take you through all the boat’s equipment, help you find your way around, show you how to manoeuvre the boat in port and at sea, and then watch attentively as you perform these same manoeuvres. In addition, POCHON, our longstanding partner and supplier of marine electronics, will have a representative on hand to explain the navigation, communication, and Hi-Fi equipment.

For our new yacht owners, these five days are intense, not only in terms of assimilating information but also from an emotional point of view. And for the AMEL handover team, it’s a privileged opportunity to share their knowledge and expertise, to ensure our clients can sail away relaxed and confident!
