AMEL Shipyard has today announced the launch of the AMEL 50.2, a new ocean-going cruiser that remains faithful to the brand’s DNA. Designed for sailing in complete safety and maximum comfort, it will make its world debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, which takes place from 8th to 13th September 2026.
Building on the success of the AMEL 50—with some 140 units currently navigating the globe—the AMEL 50.2 heralds a new chapter in the Shipyard’s history. This latest model takes the art of cruising to another level, perfectly combining safety, ease of manoeuvring, contemporary elegance and onboard comfort.

A new model true to the AMEL DNA
The AMEL 50.2, designed by Berret-Racoupeau Yacht Design, has been conceived as a natural evolution of the AMEL 50, whilst retaining the brand’s defining strengths.
Its silhouette is sleeker, accentuated by an inverted bow and softer deck lines.
The central cockpit, a hallmark feature of AMEL yachts, has been redesigned on this latest model, with particular attention paid to its contours and finish. A reconfigured layout further facilitates sail manoeuvres and passenger movement.
